LetzDance Newsletter Dear Dancers
In this newsletter:
(i) Smooth Jive Fusion retires and
Letz Dance is born!
(ii) Friday 19th Feb - 2 Tone
Freestyle at the Verwood Hub including a warm-up WCS class
(iii) Friday 19th Feb is the deadline
for Mandy to receive Rock Bottoms cheques
(iv) Mondays & Thursdays classes at
St Ives on hold til after the Champs
(v) New 6 week Beginners Plus Course
at "The Barn" Andover starts Tues 23rd Feb
(vi) New 6 week Beginners Course at
Bramshaw starts Wed 24th Feb
(i) We've finally changed our
name to something more generic and Ian has done an incredible job
putting together our new website :
www.letzdance.co.uk
In the future we plan to have a
members only area with class videos and any other
relevant information to help our dancers source music, find out
about events etc.
Plus if anyone would like Ian to help
with their web design, he'd love to put his newfound skills to work
:))
(ii) Don't forget the next fabulous 2
Tone Freestyle at the Verwood Hub on Friday 19th Feb. we will be
doing a short, fun, warm-up WCS class at the beginning of the
evening in the Room 100 so get there nice and early.
(iii) Mandy's deadline for Rock
Bottoms cheques is also Friday 19th Feb, so if you haven't done it
already, pop the cheque in the post today (they won't be cashed
until at least 22nd Feb if you're worried about finances :) )
(iv) Monday and Thursday night
classes at St Ives are on hold until after "The Champs" at
Weston-Super-Mare as we are using the hall for rehearsals and
private practise.
Mondays Improver/Intermediate 6 week
class (by arrangement only) will restart on Monday 19th April with a
minimum of 12 people booked on. Thursdays Beginners 6 week class
will restart on Thursday 15th April with a minimum of 12 people
booked on.
(v) The Beginners course at the Barn
in Andover has been really well received and everyone is signing up
for the Beginners Plus course starting on Tuesday 23rd Feb. Brand
new people to WCS can still join this course but for those on their
second course, we will be adding to the basics and expanding your
repertoire. More men are always needed as we have ladies waiting to
join the course so please speak to Amanda at Jiveolution to book

(vi) Bramshaw is still going
from strength to strength and now that the bar is closed we have
complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits supplied by
Colin Watts! The next Beginners Course starts Wednesday 24th Feb -
£35 for the 6 week course (including 2 classes) or £8 on the door.
Don't forget that brand new people to WCS will not be allowed to
join the course after week 2 as it is progressive - if in doubt,
